Acramite® 50WS

Acramite® is a broad spectrum miticide approved for applications on almonds, apples, cotton, cucurbits, edible gourds, filberts, grapes, hops, mint, nectarines, peaches, pears, pecans, pistachios, plums, strawberries, tomatoes, walnuts, and a variety of other crops. See label for full crop list.

It provides superior performance and rapid knockdown of targeted mite pests such as two-spotted spider mites, Pacific spider mites, European red mites as well as others. Acramite has a unique mode of action and provides rapid knockdown of motile mites with excellent residual control of newly hatched nymphs and provides high egg mortality of Tetranychid mites.. It offers a much sought-after option to commonly used miticides which have developed resistance. Research has demonstrated the absence of cross-resistance with other currently registered miticides.

Acramite does not effect populations of beneficial insects and predatory mites. It fits well into Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs, and use is encouraged as a means of reducing the number of chemical applications to a crop. Field trials have demonstrated no effects to beneficials with Acramite versus other competing miticides.

Acramite is a wettable powder that is easy to use and safe to handle in convenient water-soluble bags. The label carries a user-friendly "Caution" signal word and a 12-hour Restricted Entry Interval (REI). Short Pre-Harvest Intervals (PHI) range from 1 day to 14 days, depending on crop use. There are no special personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. Workers can wear normal work clothing for mixing and application, and use does not require Notice of Intent (NOI). Application is limited to one per season per crop for all crops except strawberries. For strawberry crops, you may use usetwo applications per year, with one application per harvested crop and a minimum period between applications of 21 days.
